I would be totally remiss if I didn't pass along the following information. If you are an avid atheist, muslim, unitarian, big-bang evolutionist, buddhist or even a committed hedonologist (o.k., who isn't ?) you may want to skip this section. If, on the other hand, you feel your life is meandering along without solid meaning read on.

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me (John 14:6)

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven, that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him (Rev. 3:20)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. (Eph. 2:8&9)

If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it. For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? (Mat. 16:24-26)

Jesus Christ can not be just a good man. Either he was a liar, a lunatic or, as He claimed, the Son of God. If you believe the later, than it really doesn't make sense to sit in the middle of the road and give Him anything less than your life's total commitment.
